A little Backstory

Andrea is one of my best friends and we have known each other for a bajillion years (literally—we met exactly one bajillion years ago at Warped Tour and that’s a fact). She started going by Andi in college, but I could never make the switch and alas, I’m one of the few people to call her Andrea…sorry, but I just can’t help it!  While we live almost 300 miles apart and rarely see each other, we’re still super close to this day! She probably has more embarrassing pictures of me than I’d like to admit—from back when disposable cameras were a thing and you couldn’t take a million shots until you got a flattering one. The good ole days!

Andrea & Craig

Andrea and Craig met our freshman year in college, quickly fell in love, and were married in 2011. It was a beautiful wedding in New Braunfels, Texas and I was so very excited to be a bridesmaid for the first time! Eight years later and they have two adorable kids, Nora and Jack.

Fun fact: Andrea was pregnant with Nora at my wedding! She was one of TWO pregnant bridesmaids, so it’s safe to say my bridal party was literally bumpin’. 

The Dacy Family

Their little family of four is so much fun! It’s strange when your friends start having kids and  they start becoming little adults! Nora is seriously so sassy and definitely has a strong personality. At two, Jack was telling me knock knock jokes all by himself! Well, sort of. He started with “knock, knock.” So I responded with the standard “who’s there?” He didn’t actually want to play with me though and insisted Andrea be at the door. Oh well!
