How They Met

Vivian and Juan’s story is right out of a Hollywood rom-com… they met junior year of high school and quickly fell in love! Well, kind of. Vivian was instantly smitten, but Juan took an entire year to work up the nerve to ask her out! Once they were dating though, they became totally inseparable… and they have been for the past NINE years. These two are serious #couplegoals—high school sweethearts with forever ahead of them!

The Proposal

Juan is currently serving our country in the U.S. Army—and before leaving for a former mission, he had one little surprise up his sleeve! He told Vivian he wanted to bring photos with him to show his friends. With that, he sneakily arranged a “photo shoot” and they set out to Houston’s iconic Waterwall.

As you can probably guess though, this wasn’t all that happened that day… Juan got down on one knee right in the middle of the shoot! Vivian, of course, said a resounding YES and was elated to see her family come out to celebrate the news!
