When Diana & Andres walked around the corner and I first saw them… I was SO EXCITED! They were dressedto kill and adorably cuddly and giggly! I’d never met the sweet couple before our engagement session and had only chatted via email, so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect… but it’s safe to say we instantly hit it off! And I definitely wasn’t mad that Diana was rocking a tulle skirt and Andres was dapper as can be in a classic suit and tie! These two were seriously swanky.
How They Met
As we walked the winding pathways at Mercer Botanic Gardens, Diana and Andres told me all about their story. Five years ago, they met as freshmen. They were both enrolled in the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston. They were both mechanical engineer students. AND they were project partners! It was a match made in heaven. They started dating and have been inseparable since. Diana stressed that “they have been ready to be married forever!”Swoon.
The Proposal
At the end of June, they finally made it official. Andres got down one one knee and proposed at the Blaffer Art Museum on campus! Eager for married life, they are having a relatively short engagement and will celebrate next February in an upscale hotel in the Houston Museum District.
After the wedding, they’ll be taking the trip of a lifetime. Diana and Andres will jet-set across the globe to attend the Venice Carnival! You know… the festival where everyone is dressed to the nines and wearing elaborately stunning masks?! I can only imagine how elegant and posh these two will be!
Beautiful pictures of a beautiful couple!
