I am so excited to finally share Jacqueline’s bridal session from a couple of months ago! Her and Scott’s intimate wedding took place last weekend in Fredericksburg and was absolutely perfect … but that’s a story for another time — today I can finally bring these bridals out of the vault!
On a rainy day in February, Jacqueline and I met for our double bridal + boudoir session at The Oak Atelier, a beyond gorgeous studio in Conroe, Texas.
Beauty by Emily Hill provided a natural, yet truly glamorous look that perfectly complimented Jacqueline’s breathtaking Italian gown by Eddy K. She picked out this romantic dress from a small bridal boutique in Navasota called Love & Lace Texas.
As Jacqueline slipped into her dress, I fastened the 40 buttons lining the back of her crepe gown and paused … the back of this dress was absolutely stunning! And it fit Jacqueline like a glove. The illusion lace cutouts created a striking silhouette and the flowing train added a dramatic flare that could only come from a timeless Italian designer like Eddy K.
As Jacqueline put on her veil and looked in the mirror, she teared up … it was starting to feel real. She was getting married in less than two months!
Even with the cloudy skies and constant pitter patter of raindrops, the studio provided such beautiful natural light. I was constantly running over to Jacqueline to show her the back of my camera and ensure to her that the dark and dreary day was not going to show in her portraits!
Congratulations Jacqueline, you made a beautiful bride!
